Abstract

This paper argues that the mentally ill patients are being marginalized in our modern society. The authors argue that this marginalization is a product of faulty conception of human nature that is embedded in the Western thought that we inherited. We then analyze this faulty foundation of this marginalization and advocate for a broader metaphysics of humanity which will accommodate a broader social justice, and which will accommodate this neglected mode of humanity into our social justice.
